Grand Casino Mille Lacs is only 4 miles South and offers bingo, pull tabs, poker, blackjack, and slots.

GOLFING

Northwood Hills Golf is just up the road and offers both 9 and 18 holes. Or you could venture out further to the South end of Mille Lacs to Izaty's or the North end to Wealthwoods.

ATV ON PINE CENTER TRAILS

This 20 mile trail system has plenty of inclines and declines with rocky terrain, yet is suited for all levels of riders.

SHOPPING

Shop for essentials in Garrison at Family Foods, Dollar General, or any local boutiques. For more variety head up to Brainerd/Baxter for a full days worth of shopping! Pictured here is Christmas Point in Brainerd/Baxter, a favorite of Lyndi's for a unique place to go. It has it all: clothing, food, home decor, kitchen essentials, unique gifts, kids toys and books, and even furniture!

HIKING
Kathio State Park is a great place to take a hike! The Touch the Earth trail spans a half-mile, while the Kathio Landmark trail is one mile. Take the challenge of climbing the 100 foot tower, originally used as a fire tower, for spectacular views as far as the eye can see.

PAUL BUNYAN LAND

Visit the talking animated Lumberjack who greets you by name! After saying hi to Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox, stay for some fun kids rides, explore the pioneer village, and gush over the cute animals at the petting barn.

OJIBWE MUSEUM

Located across the highway from the casino, explore the story of Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe from their settlement in MN 300+ years ago to the present day through exhibits, tours, objects, and demonstrations.

TRADITIONS MINI GOLF

Located less than 30 minutes from the resort in Deerwood, MN, Traditions mini golf has been voted "Top 5 mini golf course in MN." They also have human foosball, batting cages, water wars, and a frozen yogurt bar to cool off on those warm summer days!

BILLY BONES RACEWAY & PIRATE'S COVE MINI GOLF

Head up to the Brainerd lakes area and get your thrill on with go-cart racing for all ages! Choose between 3 tracks or do them all. There is also a kid specific track for the young ones in your family! Then head next door for a round of mini golf.

SAFARI NORTH WILDLIFE PARK

More than just a zoo! Explore all the wildlife from reptiles to birds, mammals and endangered species too. Ride the new train in their 10 acre Expedition Safari, feed the giraffes and ride their amusement rides for a fun filled day.
